“As a Mix Media Artist I take my inspiration from my dual heritage. I’m Celtic and African and those two things combined with my love for nature inspires me to create unique, vibrant 3D artworks which tell a story. Having studied antique porcelain restoration way back in the 1980s, I went on to have a corporate career and motherhood before returning to art in 2000, which is when I began taking on commissioned paintings. Since 2009 I have designed and sold resort-wear across the globe and when I relocated to Devon in 2014 I returned to my first love of ceramics. I incorporate bold colours, texture and movement in all my artwork, whether that be a watercolour painting or a ceramic vessel to be used on a day to day basis around the home”.
