Sally Law

As an artist with a background in corporate identity and book design, I’m constantly striving to get away from the constraints of design briefs, deadlines, and confined spaces. So discovering a way of creating paintings without preconceived results is a joy. The paintings that emerge from my practice of Visual Medicine have an energy of their own; sometimes bold and sometimes beautifully intricate or subtle. I hope that there is a universal symbolism that any individual might respond to and be drawn into.
>Alongside this, I am also experimenting with other styles and subject matter. Allowing myself this freedom reminds me of my Foundation year at Hornsey College of Art, and the excitement of trying anything!
